A Master Plan for the March Air Field Museum. Based on exploration of the site opportunities and constraints, and incorporating the museum's mission statement and goals, the project develops a vision for the museum, enhances the visitor's experience, awareness, and understanding of the significant history and importance of the site, and solves site planning and program challenges that meets the needs of the museum.
Student: Claire Bowen
Provides a place, grounded in its aviation history, that offers a variety of experiences to honor, educate, and celebrate the people, and technology that made aviation possible.
Student: Lilia Pharazyn
This project uses landscape architecture to as a tool to strengthen site identity and enhance the user experience.
Student: Roberto Achacoso
This project takes the idea of this ‘journey’ as its central theme, with the goal of taking museum-goers on a series of ‘journeys’ to hopefully provide visitors even just a slight semblance of the journeys that these soldiers had to undertake.

This project rethinks the March Field Air Museum space, turning it into a destination for the community, as well as a tourist attraction, promoting an educational, experimental, fun and a contemplative experience.
