Trails to Peaceful Sustainability:
Restoring Elephant Hill for the Future of El Sereno

This project proposes to transform Elephant Hill, a neglected natural area, into a passive recreational park through the use of landscape architectural and restoration principles. The proposed park will be designed to provide the local community and its users the opportunity to connect, explore, and experience nature by providing recreational opportunities such as accessible trails for hiking and jogging through the steep terrain of the park. This project will also re- establish the neglected landscape with native vegetation that will promote wildlife habitat and erosion control in the park.
