The Bowtie Ecological Refuge: Climate Research, Education and Justice at the Heart of the LA RiverSpace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Bowtie Ecological Refuge will transform a toxic, post-industrial parcel of land into an ecological sanctuary. It proposes to re-route a section of the Union Pacific Rail Line, incorporate the Los Angeles Media Tech Center and provide access for the surrounding neighborhood. It is a habitat restoration, hydrology, green space equity and environmental education project in the age of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
